Dark Walls for a Dark Season

Friends, it’s been a while since I did an old-school “La Maison Boheme” post, filled with inspiring photos of maximalist bohemian splendor. It’s nice to scratch that itch every once in a while, yes?

As the days grow darker and we dive headlong into winter (my yard is already covered in snow), I’m craving dark, cave-like rooms with low accent lighting and thriving, unruly houseplants. I am seriously considering painting something (anything) in an inky all-encompasing color. My home art studio back in Dallas used to be black and I loved it!

Here are some images to get us started!
