Bronze Owl Bookends

I just wanted to share my newest thrift find.  The other day, I met Brandi from Flights of Whimsy for a cup of coffee and some light shopping at Lula B's in Dallas.  I love meeting blog friends in real life!  Brandi scored a beautiful gold leaf wall hanging and I picked up these awesome bronze owl bookends.  Remember my prediction about bronze as a style trend in the coming year?  I thought I'd kick things off myself. These suckers are heavy and can double as weapons for self defense.  What do you think?
