April | Parent-Child Painting Workshop

Saturday, April 8th

9:00am - noon

Class limit: 5 pairs

You and your child or grandchild will join Sarah Greenman in her studio at the historic Continental Gin Building in Deep Ellum for a special morning of art instruction and art making.

During this 3-hour workshop, you will work collaboratively with your kiddo on a unique piece of abstract art. Sarah will walk you through her process from beginning to end. You'll learn different techniques, color theory, value, contrast and composition. Your $90 fee covers a hangable 24 x 24 inch canvas, brushes, fine artist-grade acrylic paints, and both group and one-on-one instruction and support from Sarah. You will be using the same kind of high quality materials that Sarah uses for her own work - none of that cheap paint on flimsy canvases. Only the good stuff! At the end of the class, you'll go home with your very own individual work of abstract art.

This all-inclusive $90 fee includes:

-  Art instruction from Sarah Greenman

-  one 24x24 inch art canvas

-  The use of Sarah's high quality brushes and implements

-  The use of Sarah's high quality acrylic paints (Brand: Golden)
